About Martin:

Martin Gardner has worked as a fashion, beauty and celebrity portrait photographer for more than 15 years, photographing some of the world's most celebrated personalities from film, music, TV and sport.

Based in London, Martin has an extensive portfolio which includes portraits of U2, Oliver Stone, Jimmy Carr, Jack Dee, Nick Cave, Meat Loaf, Leigh Bowery, Ian Dury, Primal Scream, Blur, Paul Oakenfold and Rihanna, to name but a few. His work has been used for a variety of album covers, magazine covers, features and advertising campaigns.

Martin's iconic image of Norman Cook (Fat Boy Slim) has been included in the British National Portrait Gallery's permanent archive - the image has been used in exhibitions both at home and abroad to promote the National Portrait Gallery's work to a younger audience.
